Morgan Elementary School

Mission: At Morgan Elementary School, we provide each student with personalized learning opportunities in order to create independent and self-motivated lifelong learners. A focus on rigorous academic instruction, coupled with a focus on developing the whole child, enables our students to reach their full potential.

Morgan Elementary School is a competency-based school that serves about 300 students in grades PK through 5th. The school is located in Gold Hill, North Carolina. Morgan is a part of the East Rowan Community.

Students leaving 5th grade attend Erwin Middle School for grades 6th-8th. Grades 9th-12th are completed at East Rowan High School.

Morgan Elementary is a vital part of the Gold Hill community. Its historical setting provides many opportunities to study the rich history and heritage of early North Carolina. The students and staff benefit from strong community support as evidenced by an active PTA and dedicated volunteers. School programs are very well attended by parents and supportive community members.
