S.T.E.M. & Advanced Manufacturing Academy

OVERVIEW
Choose from over 20 Advanced Placement courses to prepare for a college S.T.E.M. degree and learn to use specialized robotics equipment for engineering design. The new Advanced Manufacturing Academy will ensure students hone skills in every manufacturing aspect, from engineering and design to product creation. Successful students will be immediately employable or well-prepared for a two-year or four-year mechanical engineering, computer-integrated machining, or welding program.

HOW CAN I APPLY?
Any student may apply to SHS STEM and Advanced Manufacturing Academy regardless of their current district. For more information about joining our STEM and Advanced Manufacturing Academy, you should meet with a guidance counselor to determine if our academy aligns with your goals for high school and beyond.

ALL RSS ACADEMIES
High School Academies offer specialized curricula and courses and are aligned to specific career pathways.
Rising ninth-grade students unable to obtain academies or concentrations in their regularly assigned school may apply to another school within RSS to enroll in a program of study or academy not offered at their school. Transfers into high school academies for rising ninth graders will be granted on a space-available basis, with students in the academy's host school given the first opportunity for enrollment in the academy.
