Mrs. Sokolowski grew up in Rowan County. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UNCC. She received her Master's in School Administration also from UNCC. She was a classroom teacher for 21 years, teaching kindergarten, 5th grade, and AIG. Mrs. Sokolowski served as an Assistant Principal for three years at Knollwood Elementary School. She and her husband Doug live in Rowan County with their three children, John, Ty, and Brynn.
