• Mission Statement

      Interscholastic athletics is a co-curricular activity & is an integral part of the educational process for student-athletes in Rowan-Salisbury Schools. Athletics provide not only an avenue for the development of athletic skills but for the development of the total person. 

      Athletics teaches life skills including responsibility, accountability, team building, fair play, and determination.

      The Rowan-Salisbury School System emphasizes academic accountability and fair play. It promotes attitudes and practices that keep winning in perspective and discourages activities that would be considered unsportsmanlike.

      IT IS THE BELIEF OF THE ROWAN-SALISBURY SCHOOLS THAT ALL STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN COMPETITIVE ATHLETICS.
