The Rowan Salisbury School’s Department of Equity and Inclusion works with stakeholders to support the mission and vision of the district while developing programs that support academic rigor, cultural relevance, and relationship building.

The Department of Equity plays a key role in carrying out strategic priorities of the RSS Strategic Plan.  We do this by promoting an inclusive environment that celebrates every student's ability, race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status, national origin, and sexual orientation. The Department of Equity and Inclusion also fosters a safe space for ongoing discussion and professional development to address issues of equity and access in schools, racial and cultural awareness, and diversity for students and staff.
